What Enrichment is about?
Words can only describe our program so much. Here you will be able to learn about our curriculum, community impact, and how we support our students here at Enrichment.

WHAT WE DO

WHAT WE OFFER

HOW WE BENEFIT

HOW WE EDUCATE
2016 - up to now
mentioned BOS Enrichment Program chooses to use PBL as a part of the educational process to enrich students’ mainstream subject knowledge.
It is related to enquiry-based learning (also known as inquiry-based learning), and problem-based learning. The distinctive feature of project based learning is the publicly-exhibited output. We have chosen to focus on project-based learning because it incorporates enquiry, and because, in our experience, public exhibition is a tremendously powerful motivator for both students and staff.
2016 - Present day
Enrichment Program benefits the school by:
better use of resources and outside spaces
closer partnerships with parents
improved links with the community, through volunteer activities, as well as improved parental understanding of the importance of PBL (see Appendix A)
extending opportunities for family learning
extending the skills of staff
2016 - Up to present
BOS Enrichment Programme aims to offer pupils:
access to the most up to date equipment
staff to guide, help and support
opportunities to learn new skills through the frequent and progressive use of facilities out of the classroom
a range of activities that broaden and strengthen the mainstream curriculum
experiential learning through visits and visitors and use of outside spaces in a variety of settings, landscapes and community spaces.
teaching for and with creativity
study skills development – thinking skills, philosophy for children, etc.
2016 - 2019
The BOS Enrichment Programme aims to raise achievement by enabling pupils to:
build upon work done previously in mainstream classes and give a real purpose for follow up work within the classroom.
