For the International Children's Day, Enrichment students came up with various creative ideas :)
EVOLUTION OF MEDICINE THROUGHOUT THE HISTORY OF MANKIND
Students were taken to one of the first private clinics in Baku – MediClub.
Enrichment students visited some hospital departments (lab, CT room, Emergency room, surgery area), got acquainted with modern methods of diagnostics and treatment, and had a chance to interview MediClub physicians.
DIPLOMACY VS POLITICS

Diplomacy as the Art of Negotiations
The aim of the project “Diplomacy as the art of negotiations”, was to encourage learners to be aware of global issues around the world and at the same time, offer opportunities to explore possible solutions through research and cooperation.
Throughout this course, pupils learned how to decide which diplomacy tools work best in different situations. In addition, students could develop an understanding of negotiation, sanctions, and other elements used in diplomatic relationships. Moreover, as a subtopic of the main motion, Enrichment covered a topic of “Genocide is the end of humanity” There was a study case of the Khojaly tragedy and the role of diplomacy in negotiations related to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
As a practical approach to this project, Enrichment students were taken to the main workplace of diplomats, which is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and had a chance to see how diplomats work in real life.
During the visit, our students received a chance to hold a conference with Leyla Khanum – the spokesperson of the MFA. Pupils asked their questions concerning the topic of “Diplomacy as the Art of Negotiations” and its subtopic “Genocide is the end of humanity”.
Leyla khanum had stated that it was the first time they had school pupils visiting MFA premises, nevertheless our pupils managed to impress the press secretary by asking challenging questions!
As usually, the info accumulated at the trip was used to prepare projects on the above-mentioned topics as well as to reflect on the school assembly dedicated to tragic events in Khojaly.
Human Impact upon Nature
The target of the trip to one of the local publc beaches was to introduce students with current environmental impact of pollution and explain students that all life is interconnected and that our actions can have lasting (sometimes unintended) repercussions on the environment.
Students got familiarized with the concepts of natural resources and ecological communities as well. During the trip students got to see, observe and conduct their own research about the positives and negatives of the human’s impact on the environment. This educational trip has helped students to realize how human impacts can directly affect species survival, using plastic, glass or other waste as an example.
Education and its Aspects
Under this topic, students were learning about Education in general and its being the most efficient and effective way of teaching and learning the basic and advanced skills and knowledge.
We were comparing education of past with present’s style and discussing the types of education:
informal/formal
special needs
adult education
state/private institutions
best universities of your own country
Benefits and Negatives Of Online Education:
5 high ranking countries in their education system
Special needs education
Contrast of indigenous and modern types of education
Edu system of their own country
So, in the end pupils were given a choice of picking one topic from above and make their own reflection on the subject of Education.

As an example of Azeri ethnology we organized a trip to Archeological-Ethnographical Museum complex in the village of Gala. Primary Enrichment pupils also joined us on the trip. As a result students got to learn about Ethnology through Archeology in a very responsible way by liaising between teachers and primary kids.
Women's Rights
Women's Rights are
Human Rights!!!
This time Enrichment touched another global issue around world as Women’s rights.
By this project we wanted our sts to see that any dream can be achieved – all you need is a strong will and belief in yourself! On the example of football, I want Enrichment sts to encourage other girls to pursue their dreams and raise against any kind of gender discrimination.
The motto of the project would be - We believe in equality and diversity between men and women!

Teacher'S Day II
Appreciating Teachers
Another group of students was to hand self made "Best Teacher Award" to chosen pedagogues.
Make a difference
Project with UNICEF
By discussing the ways to raise awareness of people for issues related to kids with physical disabilities, Enrichment students took a site trip to Sumgait to meet some of those children and hear their story from themselves and their parents. They motivated them to go on further and believe in themselves – in what they can truly achieve!
From more global perspective - the trip helped Enrichment students to advocate children’s rights in the right direction as well as gain an invaluable experience and just make difference in this world!
Memorial Day
Khojaly Genocide
Enrichment students were so much impressed with the terrible events happened in Khojaly that some of them wanted to do something meaningful to deliver the rest of the world the horrible truth of Khojaly massacre...
This project was aimed at helping students to discover the factors that determine the location of borders and visa issues of their own countries by using the information provided by the Embassador of Mexican Republic to Azerbaijan - Mr. Labardini . Students were to carry out independent researches through the examination of maps, documentaries as well as primary source documents.
